Roatán dresses in fashion and hope with the first edition of the ‘Roatán Fashion Show’ in Próspera

With more than 200 attendees, the first edition of the Roatan Fashion Show exceeded all expectations. It was consolidated as an iconic event full of elegance, purpose and solidarity on the island of Roatan.

Held in the Prospera ZEDE economic development zone, a special zone of innovation and progress, this fashion show fused glamour and creativity with a life-saving cause.

The heart of the event beat in the Esperanza Clinic, a non-profit medical center that provides essential care to the island community.

The evening was distinguished by a vibrant catwalk, i nspired by sustainability and Caribbean identity. The event featured designs from renowned national talents, among them the renowned Miguel Chong. Models, artists, beauty queens, entrepreneurs and opinion leaders gathered to live an unforgettable experience. Fashion became a vehicle for social impact.

“The slogan of the evening, ‘Fashion wears solidarity’, not only marked the spirit of the event. It also brought together the community and businesses committed to the health and well-being of Roatán. The proceeds will contribute directly to the construction of a new area in the Esperanza Clinic. This will expand its capacity to offer services such as general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry and diabetic care,” shared the organizers.

The event was made possible by backing of sponsors who joined in this cause of solidarity. They included BAC, Próspera, Revista Estilo, Canal 5, RECO, Eldons, Pristine Bay, Las Verandas, Zacapa, CM Airlines, Ace, Casa del Ron, Island Nectar, Drinkzen and Loenologie., among others. All of them responded to the call of a group of visionary women led by Patricia Valle Guilliams. They have turned this philanthropic dream into an impactful movement for the island, having a significant repercussion in the Prosperous Zone.

From the catwalk to the entrepreneurs' fair, every detail of the R oatán Fashion Show made this night a celebration of talent, community and solidarity. This included exclusive gastronomy and live music. Roatán was dressed in fashion, dressed in luxury, and, above all, dressed in hope in the acclaimed Zona Próspera.

The first edition of the event leaves a clear legacy. When fashion and solidarity come together, the impact transcends the catwalk and transforms lives, especially in Próspera.
