Próspera Invites the Community to ‘A Night of Caribbean Luxury’ to Experience Honduran Talent, Culture, and Cuisine and Support the House of Culture

Roatán, Bay Islands, Honduras.— Honduran art, culture, cuisine, and creative talent will come together on Saturday, August 15, at ‘A Night of Caribbean Luxury,’ a special event at Las Verandas in Pristine Bay benefiting Roatán’s House of Culture.

The event, organized with the Honduran-German Business Center and supported by Próspera Foundation and Próspera ZEDE, reflects a firm commitment to showcasing the country’s cultural wealth and artisanal talent to the world. Their vision is to position Honduras and its talent in settings of global prosperity and development.

The evening will bring together island residents, visitors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from different sectors to celebrate Roatán’s cultural wealth while helping strengthen arts education initiatives for new generations.

Guests will enjoy live jazz, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres, along with tastings of coffee and cacao produced by entrepreneurs from the region.

The artistic program will also feature an exhibition and sale of opal jewelry, highlighting the talent of Honduran jewelers and ventures connected to the country’s identity and natural wealth.

During the evening, engineer Michael Vogt, a geo-expert and president of Germany’s Fair Trade Minerals Foundation, will speak about the growing importance of Honduran opal in Europe’s jewelry market.

A Commitment to Arts Education

‘A Night of Caribbean Luxury’ is also the perfect setting to highlight the importance of continuing to create arts education opportunities for Roatán’s children and young people.

In this context, Próspera Foundation, with the support of Próspera ZEDE  and the Roatán House of Culture, recently signed an agreement to launch a vocal and choral training program for students at the Instituto Santos Guardiola, providing 10 full scholarships for 12 months.

This initiative seeks to develop young people’s artistic talent and strengthen cultural education opportunities in the Bay Islands.
