Próspera Honduras, Pristine Bay, and UTH Hold Job Fair to Connect La Ceiba Talent with New Opportunities

La Ceiba, Honduras.— To bring new job opportunities to professionals and people seeking to enter the workforce, Próspera Honduras, Pristine Bay, and the Technological University of Honduras (UTH) will hold their first Job Fair on Thursday, August 13, at UTH La Ceiba.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about job openings at companies based in Próspera ZEDE, connect with representatives of participating organizations, and explore paths for professional growth.
One of the main requirements for applicants is English proficiency, so the fair is especially geared toward English speakers seeking new professional opportunities.
During the event, attendees could meet the recruitment team, learn about available positions, and get information about candidate profiles and selection processes.
The fair also connects La Ceiba’s talent with new avenues for professional development, helping bridge the skills of Honduran professionals with opportunities offered by organizations in the Próspera and Pristine Bay ecosystem.
La Ceiba, known as the Bride of Honduras, experienced a commercial and development boom from the 1980s through 2000. That momentum has declined in recent decades, however, and opportunities have diminished for younger generations. Próspera Honduras recognizes the area’s industrial development potential and the capabilities of its people, which is why it is bringing this opportunity together with partner companies.
In addition, Próspera ZEDE plans to include the development of Puerto Satuyé among its investments, creating a hub for industrial and technological growth that positions Honduras’s Caribbean coast as a strong destination for international investment.
